DESTINATION WEDDING IMAGES
FEATURED DESTINATION WEDDINGS
Here are a handful of my favourite destination weddings from the last couple of years in various locations. These featured weddings contain almost a full collection of photos from a wedding day, hopefully it gives you an idea of what to expect from me as a wedding photographer. If you want to see more weddings then visit my blog..
Adriana & Mauro’s wedding in Valencia, Spain
Adriana & Mauro had the most incredible wedding at the Masia Aldamar in Valencia, Spain. They got married in the beautiful and grand San Juan de la Cruz church…
Lucy & Curtis’ wedding in Marbella, Spain
Well I just had the best couple of days with Lucy & Curtis at the beautiful Villa Bermeja. To capture a friends wedding is always extra special especially when they fly you out to Spain to join their nearest and dearest! They brought 35 of their closest friends & family to Villa Bermeja. A beautiful villa nestled in the mountains of Spains southern coast line.
NATURAL, FUN & RELAXED DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
DOCUMENTARY DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I photograph weddings in a documentary style which means I specialise in capturing natural images from the best day of your lives. My approach to wedding photography is relaxed and fun, meaning you have more time to enjoy your wedding day without having to worry about a long photoshoot. I keep things unobtrusive, natural and hassle free. I really take the time to get to know you both as a couple so hopefully you see me more like a guest with a camera.
POPULAR DESTINATIONS FOR UK COUPLES GETTING MARRIED ABROAD
Italy - Italy offers incredible diversity when it comes to weddings. You can get married in the rolling hills of Tuscany, along the sunny Amalfi Coast, elope with picturesque views of the Dolomites, or celebrate in the historic and bustling cities of Rome. You are spoiled for choice, which is one of the reasons why Italy is one of my favorite countries to visit. Popular wedding locations include Lake Garda and Lake Como.
Greece - When someone mentions Greece, I think of bright white buildings, rugged coastlines with hundreds of islands, crystal blue waters, and of course, gyros! Islands such as Santorini, Rhodes, and Kefalonia are all popular destination wedding locations.
France - France is another popular country for UK couples. You can get married in the "Capital of Love," Paris, or venture into the countryside. The south of France is a beautiful region with vast and stunning landscapes. You can also consider a rugged mountain wedding in the Alps in ski towns such as Chamonix, Courchevel, Megève, and Annecy. I spent much of my childhood visiting the Alps in winter for family ski holidays, making it a place I hold close to my heart.
Spain - I have been fortunate to capture several weddings in Spain—one in the beautiful city of Valencia and another in a stunning villa tucked away in the Andalusian mountains. I love Spain for its vibrant culture and delicious cuisine, such as paella, patatas bravas, and croquettes! I am traveling to Ibiza later this year for a wedding, which I am very excited about. I would love to capture weddings in Seville, Barcelona, and Majorca.
Ireland - Ireland isn’t known for its warm climate, but it is a country I would love to visit, and it is becoming increasingly popular with tourists. Otherwise known as the Emerald Isle, it is an amazing place for hiking, exploring castles, and admiring its jagged coastline. You can’t forget that it’s also home to a tasty pint of Guinness!
Norway Often described as one of the most scenic and happiest countries in the world, Norway has so much charm, from its famous fjords and Viking history to its quaint fishing villages. I would love to visit this Scandinavian nation and photograph a wedding there.

I LOVE TO TRAVEL
It might sound a bit cliché, but it's true! There is nothing better or more exciting than hopping on a plane, boat, car, or train to a new destination—exploring new cultures, trying new foods, and seeing interesting sights. Although I don't remember it, I have been on and off planes since I was just six months old. I used to spend two to three months of the year visiting my grandparents in the Middle East (Dubai and Saudi Arabia).
My mum also has a passion for exploring, and we would often go on a couple of family holidays each year to exciting destinations like France, Egypt, South Africa, the USA, and Turkey. Since then, my partner Sydney and I have made it a goal to visit at least one new country every year. We even backpacked around Southeast Asia for four months, visiting some truly exotic and amazing countries such as Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. My camera goes everywhere with me, allowing me to document everything I see. Whether I'm using my long telephoto lens to capture close-up portraits of exotic wildlife or my wide-angle lens to frame breathtaking landscapes, I love bringing all my gear to preserve the memories of my adventures.
Traveling is ingrained in me, and I have the bug! I hope to continue exploring the world while photographing weddings across the globe.

HIRING A DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Do I need a destination wedding photographer?
Whilst you can book a local photographer in the country you're getting married in. Sometimes this may cause some hiccups later down the line such as language barriers, clash in style of photography and less of a personal connection. The advantage of a documentary wedding photographer from the UK is you have the opportunity to communicate multiples times before the big day. So you know exactly what to expect and also build up a great connection with your photographer. For these reasons you might want to consider booking a UK destination Wedding Photographer.
What do you charge for a destination wedding?
For Europe I charge my standard full-day wedding package plus an additional £500 to cover all my travel and accommodation expenses. For countries outside of Europe I may have to charge more for travel expenses due to the higher costs of travel. I can give you more specifics when I get more details from you.
How far are you willing to travel to photograph our wedding?
Whever you are planning to have your wedding abroad , I would love to join you. So far I have photographed weddings in Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal but I am looking to visit new places. If you are looking for a documentary style destination wedding photographer then I would love to hear from you.
Do you just photograph the wedding day?
When photographing a destination wedding, I love to arrive a few days earlier and leave a day or two after the wedding. This gives me plenty of time to capture any pre or post wedding celebration to tell the full story of your destination wedding abroad.
How do we book you as our destination wedding photographer?
First of all, if you like what you see then enquire as soon as possible! Hopefully if I am available I will respond with an email asking to have a chat over zoom or in person. This is a great way for us to get to know each other and also make sure I am the right fit for your destination wedding. Once I have confirmation that you would like me to be your photographer, I will send over an email containing the booking process which includes a 25% deposit and a booking form. The remaining balance is due 1 month before the wedding.
Are you insured to photograph destination weddings?
Yes! I have insurance which covers me internationally. I can provide you with any documentation you need before the wedding. It's good to know you are in safe hands before getting on the plane!
Travelling to Destination Weddings
I always book my flights or travel for my destination weddings in advance (Unless I get a last minute booking). I am happy to arrange all my own transport and accommodation unless you as a couple have some other ideas. I sometimes stay in large villas with my couples so I am onsite for the whole weekend and so I can capture the full story. Don't worry I make sure my passport is always up to date and I always check entry requirements such as visas!
